1. What is eGD?

The full name of eGD is eBay Guaranteed Delivery, the Chinese name is 「保證送達」. It is a service that eBay recommend the seller to adopt.

In a nutshell, if the seller ships from the local site, and provides a service that guaranteed can deliver the product within the specific time for buyers in a specific region of the site, then eBay will enhance this listing exposure when these buyers searching the listing. 

2. How to set the eGD?

The user who wants to turn on the eGD service must:

  1. Subscribed to eBay store service
  2. Annual trading volume exceeds 100 order 
  3. The proportion of not delivered in time less than or equal to 5%
  4. Can be shipped on that day or within one day 

The user should follow the below image to set the listing (Image for US site)

About set the region freight list in SoldEazy:

Assume that the user wants to provide eGD service for New Jersey buyer, the following settings are required

  1. Login to ebay.com and go to account setting. Find 'site preferences' in the left menu, then revise/create a domestic rate table

  2. Select the corresponding rate table in <Domestic rate table> in <Shipping and Returns> of SoldEazy Datasheet 

     

  3. Save it and synchronize to eBay

3. What happened after setting the listing to eGD?

Assume that the user does the listing in US site, item location is in New Jersey, handling time is 0, provide the return service, Domestic Shipping Service is USPS Priority Mail, freight fee is 0, set Expedited service of New Jersey in Domestic Rate Table, etc.

 

When a New Jersey buyer searching listing in eBay, he/she can see this listing. eBay will specifically mark this listing as <FAST 'N FREE> with <Guaranteed by> attached below and add an estimated delivery date.

Also, you can specifically screen out the listing that supports providing eGD service to buyer's delivery address 

This order will become the eGD order after New Jersey buyer placed an order for purchase. The user can see the order contain green eGD label in ShipEazt of SoldEazy, just like below picture.

The user should pay attention to the order containing this label. If you cannot ship it in time, it will affect your account performance.

4. How to determine whether a listing is eGD?

A listing itself cannot be determined whether it is eGD or not. As only the buyer who meets the specific requirement can see the <Guaranteed> logo, others cannot see it during the browsing. 

Also, After the buyer placing the order, the order layer will distinguish whether it is eGD and whether it needs urgent processing.
